MWRI Level 2 Daily Snow Depth and Snow Water Equivalent Product from FY3B.
Abstract:
MWRI(MicroWave Radiation Imager) L2 Daily Snow Depth and Snow Water Equivalent product is at the resolution of 25KM, and it contains Northern Hemisphere Daily Snow Depth and Snow Water Equivalent, Southern Hemisphere Daily Snow Depth and Snow Water Equivalent using EASE-GRID northern and southern hemisphere projection separately. Snow depth means the depth of snow pack. The valid range of snow depth is 0~240, its unit is cm. SWE is a common snow pack measurement. It is the amount of water contained within the snow pack. It can be thought of as the depth of water that would theoretically result if the entire snow pack melted instantaneously. The valid range of SWE is 0~240, its unit is mm. The filled value is 255 and 248 means the point is off-earth.
