TROPOMI Level 2 Ozone (O3) Total Column Products in NRT - Sentinel-5P

Abstract:
Total O3 column amounts to be retrieved from S5p/TROPOMI will be delievered by an algorithm based on the DOAS-style GOME Data Processor (GDP) algorithm Version 4.x, for the Near-Real Time products. The algorithm is based on O3 absorption in the UV Huggins bands (325-335 nm). The main product parameters are total ozone in [mol/m2], ozone temperature in [K]. It also delivers a profile correlation matrix based on a-priori column-classified ozone profile climatology. The NRTI L2 product will contain intermediate output (slant columns, air mass factors) resulting from the two-step DOAS style of retrieval, and output additional diagnostics (ancillary retrieval state vector elements, cloud information).
