Level 2B Horizontal Line-of-Sight Winds - Aeolus

Abstract:
Doppler wind lidar called Aladin on Aeolus is the first wind lidar in space. I is designed to probe the lowermost 30 km of the atmosphere to provide profiles of wind, aerosols and clouds along the satellite’s orbital path. The Level 2B product consists of pressure and temperature corrected Horizontal Line Of Sight (HLOS) wind profiles.
