Sea Ice Concentration Continuous Reprocessed Offline Product - DMSP

Abstract:
Daily averaged fractional ice cover in percentage. Based on passive microwave satellite data over the polar regions. The brightness temperatures has been atmospherically corrected and an optimal and dynamical sea ice concentration algorithm has been used. Ice concentration is calculated from L1B files and averaged and gridded to the daily files.
