GOME-2 AHRPT - Metop

Abstract:
The AHRPT Direct Broadcast service provides local user stations with real-time transmission of data, limited to the instantaneous sub-satellite observation. Data received through Direct Readout can be processed further using the local processing software which is available under a licence from the NWP-SAF (AAPP and RTTOVS). The Global Ozone Monitoring Experiment-2 (GOME-2) spectrometer measures profiles and total columns of ozone and of other atmospheric constituents that are related to the depletion of ozone in the stratosphere and its production in the troposphere, as well as to natural and anthropogenic sources of pollution.
