IASI Sulphur dioxide - Metop

Abstract:
Near Real Time Sulphur Dioxide global product based on IASI measurements. This is a total column product, but several alternative columns are available for the user, each using different assumptions on the mean plume height (7, 10, 13, 19 or 25 km). The algorithm was designed to measure mid-tropospheric to stratospheric volcanic SO2 and will not detect SO2 below 5 km.
