Offline Total Column - Metop

Abstract:
The Offline Total Column (OTO) product provides information about total columns of several trace gases in the atmosphere: O3 (ozone), NO2 (nitrogen dioxide), SO2 (sulphur dioxide), BrO (bromine oxide), HCHO (formaldehyde) and H2O (water vapour).The product is disseminated as one file normally containing the total column O3, the total column NO2, the tropospheric NO2 column, the total column SO2, the total column BrO, the total column HCHO, and the total column H2O.Note that in case of an anomaly one or more trace gases can not be retrieved and are missing in the product, then this is reflected in the product file name.The GOME-2/Metop Offline Total Column (OTO) products are available two weeks after sensing (usually within two days). Users requiring large time series of Metop/GOME-2 total column trace gas data are encouraged to search and order the products 'Aggregated GOME-2 Offline Trace Gas Column Densities - Metop' and 'Aggregate GOME-2 trace gas column densities data record'.
