Climate Data Set - MSG - Indian Ocean

Abstract:
Reduced resolution scene identification information, including temperature calibration data, cloud amount, sun and satellite position angles. The data may support product development for application areas such as agrometeorology and hydrology. Although historically branded as Climate Data Set the quality of the data may not be sufficient for use in climate research and climate change and variability monitoring. From 1 June 2022, Meteosat-9 at 45.5° E is the prime satellite for the IODC service, replacing Meteosat-8 (located at 41.5° E while in operation).
