Lightning Discharge Image - GOES - South America

Abstract:
A DevCoCast product, Lightning Discharges Images (LDI) are a combination of GOES-12 (IR) cloud images and lightning occurrence information collected by the RINDAT ground Network (Integrated National Network for Detection of Atmospheric Lightning Discharges). Colours correspond to the number of lightning occurences every 15 minutes.
