Global NOAA ATOVS Service

Abstract:
Level 1c (AAPP) data in BUFR format from the HIRS and AMSU-A instruments on-board NOAA-15, as well as HIRS, AMSU-A and MHS instruments on-board NOAA-18 and NOAA-19 (these satellites form the NOAA POES satellite constellation). L1b data are received from NOAA and processed to L1c by the AAPP encoding tool. NOAA stopped the distribution of L1b data from the AMSU-B instrument on-board NOAA-15 on 11 September 2019.
