Top Of Canopy spectral Reflectances - PROBA-V - South America

Abstract:
The Top-Of-Canopy (TOC) Spectral reflectance refers to the portion of the incident energy reflected by the surface in a given spectral band and without atmospheric interferences. The TOC spectral reflectance is the primary information necessary to retrieve all other advanced surface variables. It can be retrieved by inversion of semi-empirical reflectance models over the clear observations acquired during the 30 days compositing period. The TOC reflectance is then calculated for a standard angular configuration.
