IUKK68 collection of Observational data (Binary coded) - BUFR (Upper air) available from AMMC as BUFR (FM 94) at Time 00,06,12

Abstract:
The Bureau operates a balloon based upper air sonde using a combination of RS92 sondes flights (TEMP) and wind-only flights (PILOT). TEMP flights are generally flown at 00Z and selected stations at 12Z. Stations perform a combination of wind-only flights at the interim hours of 06Z, 12Z and 18Z. Data is processed by DigiCora software. A combination of automated balloon launchers, remote balloon launchers and manual release systems are used.
